Discover Alicante, its climate, its beaches, its gastronomy and its proximity.

In Alicante you will enjoy the softest and most pleasant average temperatures throughout the year. Discover its attractions no matter what the reason for your trip is. Walks, shopping, leisure and excursions to the beach or to any of the nearby towns, which have many different attractions; gastronomy and culture.

Another element that identifies Alicante is its Castle of Santa Barbara, well preserved and host of many exhibitions and cultural events. For those who enjoy a nice and quiet walk and are interested in art, there is a route around the streets of the old town that goes through Plaza del Carmen and Plaza de Quijano. Going down the streets of Calle Toledo or Calle San Roque you reach Plaza Santa María, where you can visit its homonymous church.

From Plaza del Carmen you can go up to the Santa Cruz district via Calle San Rafael, a district filled with houses painted with lively colours. These streets are filled with bars and cafés that make them Alicante’s main nightlife hotspot, along with the bars of the shopping area around the Port. As a provincial capital, Alicante is a city with excellent services and shopping options for the whole province, especially the area around Avenida de Maisonnave, the streets adjacent to the Central Market on Avenida Alfonso el Sabio and in the old town around streets like Calle Castaños, Calle Mayor, Calle San Francisco, Calle Gerona, etc. Alicante has two beautiful beaches: Postiguet, located a few yards away from Gravina Cinco; and San Juan, located in a bay further north, easily accessible by bus from the hotel.

Excursions to the Island of Tabarca on boats that sail from the port. The whole port is also worthy of a visit. We also recommend that you visit the wine cellars of Salvador Poveda, in Monóvar, and Heretat de Sicília, in Novelda. If you like to drive, you should also visit the Valley of Guadalest.

Sports lovers have many different options at hand: sailing, fishing and other nautical activities and golf at the golf courses of Alicante Golf, Alenda, Bonalba and El Plantío. Elche is the starting point of the Volvo Ocean Race and the Off Shore, the nautical Formula 1.
